The purpose of Multiple Sclerosis Department is to better the lives of neurology patients from the first suspicion of the disease to diagnosis and follow up rehabilitation, by using modern diagnostics and active treatment.
During the time in the hospital, our team of specialists work together to prepare the patient for the future. This includes the counselling of patients and family members and showing them how to manage the disease at home.
Our neurologists – dr Katrin Gross-Paju, dr Ulvi Thomson, dr Agnes Reitsnik, dr Karin Kannel, dr Sandra Ütt, dr Marina Maiorova:
– Diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases;
– Scleroris Mulitplex specialist’s opinion for the diagnosis;
– Setting up and modifying of treatment plans.
In addition to doctors, the stroke department team includes physiotherapists, speech counselor, psychologist, social worker and nurses.

Referral from a GP or a specialist needed!
The visit fee has to be paid once every six months. There is no fee to see a nurse or a social worker.
